The Northway Surgery and Pain Center
The Northway Surgery and Pain Center located in Halfmoon, New York is a new, state of the art 10,000 square foot ambulatory surgery center. Physicians from two pain management medical practices have teamed up to build the facility. The Center’s primary service area includes the counties of Saratoga, Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Warren and Washington. Using National Center for Health Statistics estimates of chronic pain prevalence in the adult population, the partners estimated that about 182,000 people in this six-county region would benefit from their services.
The center will consist of three class B and one class C operating room with essential support spaces. The 8 pre and 8 post-op bays take advantage of being located along the exterior walls and will have windows providing desirable natural light into the space. The patient and family waiting area will be spacious and comfortable with large spans of glass at the entry. Free Wi Fi for waiting family members is one of the amenities that will be offered to guests. The exterior design will introduce modern elements of cement panels and cultured stone. The aesthetic will be welcoming and attractive.
