The design of Albany Molecular Research’s Corporate Headquarters conveys a strong image for the
international chemistry outsourcing and R&D firm. The building’s design, particularly the dramatic three-story atrium with its glass-backed elevator and monumental open staircase, makes a statement of strength, innovation, and openness. The building’s large expanses of glass allow views into the public spaces.
The construction of AMRI’s corporate headquarters in the capital city of New York was one of the most important new construction projects in Albany in recent years and served ultimately as a foundation for continued entry and expansion of high-tech firms in the capital region. AOW completed the project on time and on budget successfully overcoming scheduling, building, and cost challenges.
AOW was honored to be selected for the construction of AMRI’s corporate headquarters which encompasses 77,000 of the 275,000 square feet of space on their Albany West Campus which also houses their chemical process research and development labs, manufacturing suites, and computer-assisted drug discovery offices.
