Eagle Court
AOW was selected to perform a complete gut and renovation to a 1920’s, 40,000 square foot apartment building to expand the Albany Housing Authority’s available inventory of low to moderate income housing to local residents. This masonry building now offers 33 one bedroom, and 9 two bedroom apartments as part of the Albany South End Revitalization.
The scope of work included interior demolition, lead and asbestos abatement, window and roof replacement and fit up of all apartment including appliances. As with many renovation projects to an old masonry building many unforeseen issues arose during construction. With constant communication and coordination between the owner, architect and AOW the issues were resolved with timely, cost effective manner.
AOW was able to modify our work plan in order to achieve the end results expected by the owner with on time delivery of the project.
