For more than two decades, St. Peter’s Health Partners has relied on AOW to deliver competitive construction services to its hospitals, adult care centers, and satellite primary and urgent care facilities. Beverwyck is a senior living community located in Slingerlands, NY. The campus is made up of one and two-bedroom apartments, and additionally two-bedroom cottages.

AOW was the low bidder for this renovation project, which included all new finishes in the main corridors throughout the building wings. The common areas and main kitchen also received complete renovations. A new OT/PT office space, a new bistro area, and more room in the dining areas were implemented. Additionally, a high-end, sliding, glass door system was used to allow residents private dining areas. All furniture and finishes throughout the facility were given a refresh.

The main challenge AOW experienced was the required phasing of the common areas and corridors to accommodate the day-to-day lives of the residents occupying the facility throughout the duration of construction.

At the completion of this project, AOW was proud to turn over work that demonstrated its excellent construction management abilities.
