Cannabis Dispensaries (Troy, Potsdam, Binghamton)

Troy

AOW, partnered with Hesnor Engineering and Anderson Architecture Studio PC, was one of ten design build teams selected by DASNY and the Social Equity Servicing Corporation to design and build the first adult-use retail cannabis dispensaries to be opened in New York.

Collectively, the AOW team was responsible for all elements of design, to include working with each licensee on branding, permitting, budgeting, and construction.

420 Bliss is the selected operator for the retail space located in Brunswick, NY. A vacant shell space in the Brunswick Plaza was transformed into a contemporary retail space. Renovations included selective demolition and the installation of new ceilings with wainscoting detail, drywall partitions, doors, hardware, and accessories. Mechanical and electrical upgrades were introduced into the space to provide appropriate humidity, odor control, and back-up power availability.

In addition to a secure sales floor with high-end lighting and millwork, features include a break room with staff locker area, secure inventory rooms featuring pharmacy grade refrigeration, renovated staff bathrooms, and a separate check-in entry way for customers. The space also includes an integrated security system, ATM, fire-rated safe, and modern furnishings throughout.

Potsdam

The Fire Haus NY is the selected operator for the retail space located at Highway 11 in Potsdam. The former Olympia Sports Store in the Tractor Supply Plaza was transformed into a sleek and modern retail space. Renovations included selective demolition and the installation of new ceilings, drywall partitions, doors, hardware, and accessories. Mechanical and electrical upgrades were introduced into the space to provide appropriate humidity, odor control, and back-up power availability.

Binghamton

The Cotton Mouth Dispensary is the selected operator for the retail space in Binghamton, NY. A vacant A+W restaurant was converted into contemporary retail space. The existing drive thru lane was incorporated into the project as an area for mobile pick up orders. Renovations included removal of all kitchen equipment, selective demolition, installation of new ceilings, drywall partitions, doors, hardware and accessories. Mechanical and electrical upgrades were completed throughout the facility.
