Saratoga Hospital Radiation

The Saratoga Hospital Radiation Oncology Center was designed to meet the needs of today’s cancer patients and their loved ones. Many of the amenities from the soothing artwork in the ceilings of the treatment rooms to the Saratoga Hospital Guild Circle of Care Resources Center are the direct result of input from cancer survivors and their friends and family members.

AOW was selected to complete this very complex project which consisted of 3 simultaneous additions to Saratoga Hospital. The total project, comprising a 9,000 square foot addition designed specifically to house the new oncology department complete with a 6 foot concrete vault to shield radiation for the new linear accelerator. The addition also included other projects within the hospital to include the expansion of the cafeteria, new loading docks and receiving areas for the kitchen, as well as new mechanical support space.
