Jared Holt
In a city filled with history, the distinct mid-nineteenth century architecture of the South End/Groesbeckville Historic District is home to the Jared Holt Mews Project. The brand new two story townhouses were designed and built to recall the District’s grandest era; with an attention to detail that meets National Historic District guidelines and designed to reflect the historic architecture of the neighborhood.
This portion of the South End Revitalization work included 10 wood frame town homes built on vacant property and covers three streets and half of a city block. Each Jared Holt townhouse features one of seven distinctive facades and has its own private entrance as well as a patio or deck. Along with Energy Star Appliance, each residence features the highest efficiency HVAC system, windows, and lighting fixtures all to exceed the NYS energy code by at least 20% leading to maximum energy conservation for residence and the area economy.
This project was the beginning of our relationship with Albany Housing, Omni Development and the Department of Housing and Community Renewal and represented the end of Phase I of the South End revitalization project.
