CEO’s Southern Rensselaer Family Resource Center was constructed to provide a neglected area of Rensselaer County with services previously not offered to that community. AOW was the low competitive bidder for this project and was able to continue an ongoing relationship with CEO and offer our expertise in constructing child care facilities.

Over a 5 month period AOW constructed the new facility to the plans and specification prepared by the architect while being mindful to the needs of the client that will be occupying the building. With a successful history of working in over 15 child care facilities easily overlooked details such as extended delivery times for half doors to restrooms and primary care toilets were factored into the schedule to create a smooth project and an on time opening of the facility.

AOW assisted CEO and coordinated with CEO’s other direct contractors such as the well driller, furniture delivery and playground equipment supplier. There were concerns about the construction and noise from some of the neighbors. Through open discussions with the neighbors AOW was able to accommodate their concerns and schedule work accordingly. This allowed the owner to occupy the building peacefully and have a pleasant relationship with their community.
