Albany Medical Center M2/M3 Patient Beds
Albany Medical Center is a vital part of the Capital Region’s health care community. When the facility decided to undertake renovations to the “M” building, it was imperative that all construction work be carried out in an organized, safe and expeditious manner.
The hospital was in need of more beds to serve more patients coming through their doors. This project was a complete gut of the “M” building. All rooms were fitted with a full bathroom, shower, medical air, and oxygen.
One consideration when planning this project was that all second-floor plumbing had to be run through the main entrance of the hospital. Careful planning was done to ensure that the patient and staff disruption was minimal, and the hospital would remain fully functioning during construction. Direct and daily communication with hospital staff made this a reality.
The project was turned over to Albany Medical Center on time.
