SUNY Albany Building 25 Health Center Renovation

The building required extensive demolition and abatement. The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were in immediate need of replacement and the building required the addition of a cooling system. These upgrades accounted for nearly 25% of the total project costs.

The 3-story building entrance was completely transformed by a feature staircase supported by stringers, a beautiful, back-lit, red Lumicor wall, and bamboo paneling. The entrance alone showcases the true craftsmanship of our talented carpenters.

The building received modernized lighting, high-end flooring, architectural millwork, and new ceilings throughout. New offices, student work spaces, meeting rooms, and conference areas were created. The main conference area on the second floor includes a partial glass floor which offers a view down to the main entrance.

This project earned a LEED Platinum certification.
