AOW successfully bid the demolition and renovation of an existing 2^nd floor space at the South Clinical Campus converting the area into a 23-hour stay step-down recovery unit.  The space includes 14 recovery beds located both within private rooms and in open bays. 

Installation of new ceilings, flooring, premium millwork, and accessories was completed.  The space required new air handling units, a medical gas system, and nurse call system.  A nurse call system update was included for another 14 adjacent existing patient rooms.  Additionally, a complete overhaul off the facility’s medical gas master alarm system was also completed.

This project at the South Clinical Campus required AOW to work adjacent to patient care areas and operating rooms which required careful coordination with the facility.
