AOW has developed a trusted relationship with the State University Construction Fund at SUNY Albany for over 15 years. The State University of Albany has over 50 undergraduate majors and 150 graduate programs split between 9 schools.

AOW was the lowest bidder on the SUNY Albany Gym and Pool renovations. This project consisted of a 20,000 sq ft gym renovation and a 15,000 sq ft pool infill. The existing pool was filled in to create a new gym for the student body. Additionally, the old gymnasium was renovated to include a new gym floor, bleachers, scoreboards, a sound system, and wall padding. These renovations updated the space and allowed SUNY Albany to have a state-of-the-art gym for their Division 1 volleyball team.

There were some challenges throughout the project, including that the majority of the work was done during the school year while classes and sports seasons were in session.

This project was turned over to the owner in October of 2023 and is a testament to the exceptional management skills of AOW.
