The Glen Eddy Modernization was a complete revitalization of both the Independent and Assisted living facilities. Before the renovation, this facility was outdated and had not seen any updates for 25 years.

The finished renovations included all new ceilings, paint, flooring and light fixtures in all of the main corridors, toilet rooms and common areas. AOW upgraded specific areas with new cabinetry and built a new focal point fireplace in the dining room and fully functioning bar in the fireside lounge. The project also gave the guest suite a completely new look with a complete overhaul including an entirely new bathroom, kitchenette, and flooring. In addition to this work, AOW renovated the pool as well as constructing a completely new men’s locker room with new lockers, benches, tile and counters.

AOW faced multiple challenges throughout the duration of this project. One being working in an environment where residents are still currently living while trying to limit all disruption. AOW coordinated with the Owner and staff to store all of our materials in vacant apartments and coordinate as to when AOW could occupy certain spaces.
