AOW was a “Best in Show” Sponsor for CGHS’s 11th Annual Paws Picnic held to benefit the animals in the care of the CGHS/SPCA shelter. This facility, which is a no-kill; shelter, provides a real home for dogs and cats providing them with a loving environment, food, and medical care. Annually, this event draws 300-400 participants and raises an average of $60,000 to $65,000.
This year’s event included a fantastic lunch, musical entertainment, a wildlife demonstration, auctions, and raffle drawings. Tours of the new facility were also provided and participants were even allowed to mingle with the shelter’s beautiful cats in their two cat rooms.
